ROCK CHIP / CRACK REPAIR INFORMATION

Leveraging hands-on experience since 2018, we confidently repair all damage, from small rock chips to running cracks up to 18inches, sometimes even 24 inches long! Every repair we perform utilizes the same advanced methodology and professional equipment to give you the best possible result: We use professional injectors to create a vacuum-sealed environment on the damage, extracting all air before filling the break with our high-quality resins. This technique drastically reduces the chance of the damage expanding further, while significantly improving the clarity of the break. For running cracks, we drill a stopper on the tip, and also fill the entire line, which has the benefit of reducing sunlight glare! We are so confident in our work, we back it with our lifetime warranty!

A rock chip is determined per impact point. Please note that some damaged areas may have multiple impact points in close proximity; Please understand these are treated, and charged as individual repairs.

         - Rock Chips:            

* Standard Chip - $30+TAX  

​Additional Standard Chips - $20

 

*Complex Chip - $45+Tax
Additional Complex Chips - $35

How do you determine if a chip is a standard, or complex chip?

A repair is classified as complex if it meets any of the following technical criteria:​
* Located within 6 inches of the edges (Specifically the solar band)
* Has more than 4 legs (Small cracks smaller than 1")
* Has a total diameter greater than a quarter

                          

- Running Cracks (up to 18"):

* Initial Running Crack - $50+TAX for the first 6" 

​* Additional Running Cracks - $35, for the first 6".
* Extended length - Every additional 6", is an additional $5 

* Complex origin - An additional $10

A complex origin follows the same technical criteria as a complex chip. An origin is where the impact point hit, before it became a running crack.

                   

  - Pits (Surface Layer Damage) :

- Severe or Extensive Damage

Please note that rock chips or cracks identified as Severe by a technician, do NOT follow our standard pricing rules, and may not qualify for our warranty. These repairs are priced based on their complexity and the labor time required. You will always receive a firm, upfront quote before we begin the repair.

Examples of Severe or Extensive Damage:

* Rock chips with legs exceeding 1", and/or with a body greater than 3"

* Running Cracks over 18", and/or that branch out in multiple directions

* Multiple chips and/or cracks that are connected

-Variety of running cracks and chips:

If your windshield has a variety of Running cracks, and Chips, we base the initial starting price off the most expensive one, then will continue to add the rest of the chips/cracks with the discounted prices.
