ROCK CHIP / CRACK REPAIR INFORMATION

With hands-on experience since 2018, we confidently handle everything from a small rock chip to a running crack up to 24  inches long! While we can technically perform repairs on cracks up to 24 inches, the current industry recommendation by the National Windshield Repair Division for maintaining the structural integrity of the windshield is to keep repairs under 18 inches. For running cracks that measure between 18 inches and 24 inches, the likelihood of the repair fully obscuring the damage and maintaining long-term structural integrity is reduced. Therefore, in some cases we will be unable to offer our 4-year warranty on repairs that exceed the 18-inch mark. Regardless of the crack's length, every repair we perform utilizes the same advanced methodology and professional equipment to give you the best possible result: We use professional injectors to create a vacuum-sealed environment on the damage, extracting all air before filling the break with our high-quality resins. This technique drastically reduces the chance of the damage expanding further, while significantly improving the clarity of the break. For running cracks, we drill a stopper on the tip, and also fill the entire line, which has the benefit of reducing sunlight glare! We are so confident in our work, we back it with our 4-year warranty!

         - Rock Chips:            

1: $25+TAX

Moving forward, every extra chip is an additional $15.

                                 

For each chip that's diameter is bigger than a quarter, is an additional $5.

For each chip within 6 inches of the edges, is an additional $5.

​

For each chip that has more than 4 legs (small cracks), is an additional $5

                          

- Running Cracks:

1: $35+ TAX for the first 3"-6" 
Every additional 6" is an extra $5

Example: 
3" - 6" = $35+TAX
6" - 12" = $40+TAX
12" - 18" = $45+TAX
18" - 24" = $50+TAX

Moving forward, every extra running crack 3-6 inches will be an extra $15, with every additional 6 inches being an extra $5.

​For each running crack that has the origin within 6 inches of the edge, is an additional $5.

 

For each running crack that has an origin with more than 4 legs (small cracks), is an additional $5

(Origin is where the rock first hit, before it became a running crack)

                   

  - Pits / scratches:

1: $5/each​

-Variety of running cracks and chips:

If your windshield has a variety of Running cracks, and Chips, we base the initial starting price off the most expensive one, then will continue to add the rest of the chips/cracks with the discounted prices.

We now take comprehensive insurance as payment! You must notify technician BEFORE the repair process starts if you wish to use insurance as payment. It must also be 3 chips, or less under the diameter of a quarter. If it is a running crack it MUST be under 6 inches. Read more on our FAQ page for more info!
