ROCK CHIP / CRACK REPAIR INFORMATION

Leveraging hands-on experience since 2018, we confidently repair all damage, from small rock chips to running cracks up to 18inches! Every repair we perform utilizes the same advanced methodology and professional equipment to give you the best possible result: We use professional injectors to create a vacuum-sealed environment on the damage, extracting all air before filling the break with our high-quality resins. This technique drastically reduces the chance of the damage expanding further, while significantly improving the clarity of the break. For running cracks, we drill a stopper on the tip, and also fill the entire line, which has the benefit of reducing sunlight glare! We are so confident in our work, we back it with our lifetime warranty!

A rock chip is determined per impact point, otherwise known as the origin. Please note that some damaged areas may have multiple impact points in close proximity; Please understand these are treated, and charged as individual repairs.

         - Rock Chips:            

* Standard Chip - $35+TAX  

​Additional Standard Chips - $20

 

*Complex Chip - $45+Tax
Additional Complex Chips - $35​

A repair is classified as complex if it meets any of the following technical criteria:​
* Located within 6" of the edges (Specifically the solar band)
* Has more than 4 legs under 1/2"
* Has 1 to 4 legs measuring at, or greater than 1/2" but is less than 1"

(Legs are the cracks that are connected to the origin.)

                          

- Running Cracks (up to 18"):

* Initial Running Crack - $50+TAX for the first 1" - 6" 

​* Additional Running Cracks - $35, for the first 1" - 6" 
* Extended length - Every additional 6", is an additional $5 

* Complex origin - An additional $15

(A complex origin follows the same technical criteria as a complex chip.)

                   

  - Pits (Surface Layer Damage) :

1: $10/each​​

- Severe or Extensive Damage

Please note that rock chips or cracks identified as Severe by a technician, do NOT follow our standard pricing rules, these repairs are priced based on their complexity and the labor time required. You will always receive a firm, upfront quote before we begin the repair.
These types of repairs also may no longer qualify for our Lifetime Warranty, may be more visible than your average repair, and may be subject to risks which you can read more of by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.

Examples of Severe or Extensive Damage:

* Rock chips that have more than 4 legs measuring at, or greater than 1/2" but less than 1"

* Rock chips with one, or more legs at, or greater than 1", 

* Rock chips with a body greater than 3"

* Running Cracks with an origin that has one, or more legs at, or greater than 1"

*Running cracks with an origin that has a body greater than 3"

* Running Cracks over 18", and/or that branch out in multiple directions

* Multiple chips and/or cracks that are connected​

(A body is the bubble that forms around the origin)

-Variety of running cracks and chips:

If your windshield has a variety of Running cracks, and Chips, we base the initial starting price off the most expensive one, then will continue to add the rest of the chips/cracks with the discounted prices.

- DISCLAIMERS

Please note that we can NOT work on windshields that have been wet within the last hour of your expected repair. If your windshield is currently dry, cover the damaged area with ONLY scotch tape nice and flush leaving no air bubbles. If its been wet, you MUST let it air our for an hour before covering it with tape.

Please be aware that certain risks and restrictions apply to the process (such as repairs near the edge, running cracks exceeding 18inches, and Damage that broke the outside and inside of the windshield)
